Nandini Sharda

I am pursuing Maters Degree in International Business at Capilano University. I feel extremely elated to work as Student Digital Ambassador and help students to explore the online platform. Due to pandemic things have become challenging for everyone and working as SDA is an opportunity to guide the students and assist them to give their best at online learning platform.

Capilano University is an institution which has so many international students coming in from different learning backgrounds and because of the current pandemic situation, students are not able actually come on campus and I understand how frustrating it could be.

I chose to be a SDA so that I can advise students not only at the academics part but also, help them to keep their stress levels low by making sure that there is someone to help them where they openly communicate and talk about the problems they are facing. I aim to help as many students as I can and I am more than happy to do so. I feel it’s a great opportunity to work with other ambassadors, students and university staff. Throughout my time as a SDA, I have enjoyed being the first point of contact for students.
