Mayumi Rosanna Izumi

Mayumi Rosanna Izumi is a second year CapU student pursuing her Bachelor of Communications Degree.  She is very active on campus and is one of CSU’s (Capilano Students’ Union) Board of Directors as the Mature & Parent Students Liaison, Chair of their Collectives Committee & member of their Student Engagement Committee, Capilano Radio’s VP & Director of Social Media, and one of CSU’s Outreach Ambassadors.

Before studying Communications, Mayumi received a Diploma in Fashion Design at the International Academy of Design & Technology in Toronto and a Certificate in Fashion Merchandising and in How to Start a Small Business at VCC.  She is passionate about content creation, digital marketing and social media and received the Award of Achievement for Applied Digital Communications & Social Media at CapU.

She is looking forward to assisting students as one of the Student Digital Ambassador for the CTE.  Mayumi worked in Business Development for a software company where she gained experience in webinars.
